Buggy software Program has a poor user interface and is also very buggy.Trying to select a hard drive to scan for bad sectors only results in selecting ONE, and it is impossible to change to another one.It is impossible to perform a scan on several drives at once.Selecting another hard drive while scan is in progress will result in the hard drives jumping around in the list; unable to select another one.This is hardly what I would call a good program.

There are many programs out there that promise the world. Spotmau is notorious for saying its products can do things that no software aps can do, for example boot *ANY* hard drive, fix any partition and so forth, and they offer 90 day money back guarantee. Software or link is not what it says to be. I\'ve been downloading HDD Temperature and Temperature Pro and it is the same software. Both times I installed software on Windows Server 2003 and got error message saying that this program is not compatible with the OS. No chance to evaluate product though. :-(

very good software. easy and friendly to use and does the job right. what more you can ask?the only thing I think will be a plus is that it manage to read temps from hard drives connected to a pci sata controller and usb ports...cant find any kind of soft that has this function.

Program would not install. Code error and then something about licensing. I thought it was a 30 day trial. We are trying to find a program to monitor HD temps, in particular a number of 1TB Seagate drives using a Promise SATA 300 TX4 HD controller over the network. We have tried SpeedFan and HD Sentinel, but without success. But, at least those programs started up. We are using SpeedFan to monitor other HDs and have been successful with that program, however SpeedFan can't read the SATA drives.

my hdd's run at 55c (I hate this) but they were made to run up to 60c, program made me feel like my hdd's were going to dye on me.

No good for repairing hard drive`s I was looking for a utility to repair bad sectors on my hard drive but this does not give me the option to do this only for floppy disc's.

I need more information. The information to user, is poor, and the use of this software is easy, and the options very good. But the information to me about what sector is failed and if the track 0 was repaired is bad, and finally I don't know if was repaired track 0 and I want know about track 0 maybe it's status.

Kill your hard drive. Sorry to say, but this happend to me my hard drive was working a bit with some bad sectors but after using unistal software this is totally dead now.

WinImage is a great tool - doing exactly one thing and doing it right. Easy-to-install, no-nonsense application. Definitely worth the money. If future releases could increase the extraction speed, it would be even better, nevertheless, on a 1-5 scale, a definite 5!

Life Saver As a non technical, self taught fiddler, I lost all the information and programs on my PC. Fortunately I had backed it up which left me with a large VHD file. The company whose backup software program I used have been less than helpful. This program has taken some working out for a non technician but at least I can see all the required data and have successfully recovered some of it which will make total recovery a lot easier.
